Paul Lauinger, 57, of Bismarck, ND, formerly of Strasburg, ND, passed away August 15, 2023, at Enable. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Linton. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Sannes Feist Family Funeral Home. Burial will be held at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Linton.

Paul was born November 6, 1965, in Linton, ND to Leo and Regina (Fischer) Lauinger.  He was the youngest of seven children. Paul was raised on a farm East of Strasburg and attended School of Hope in Bismarck, ND. He later attended Linton Public School until age 21, under the care of his special teacher Deb Leier.  Paul later moved to Enable in Bismarck, where he was taken care of very well.  We would like to especially thank Roxanne Michlitsch, Vita Newman, Kenny Wald and Randy Ostboe who have been long time caregivers to Paul, they are very special people!

He enjoyed the animals on the farm, going on pickup rides to check cattle, and being outdoors. Paul always loved to shake hands with anyone he met and give you a pat on the back to say hello. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Paul is survived by five siblings, Mary Ann Keller, Emma (Jeff) Wall, Elizabeth (Tony) Volk, David (Emily) Lauinger. Leona (Marvin) Huber; brother-in-law, Joachim Volk; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Teresa Volk; brother-in-law, Landolin Keller.
