Peter T. Wald, 96, Linton, ND, passed away on October 27, 2018 at Strasburg Care Center, Strasburg, ND.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at St. Michael Catholic Church, rural Linton, ND.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Myers Funeral Home, Linton.

Pete was born on August 6, 1922 on a farm near McIntosh County, the son of Thadeus and Walburga (Mattern) Wald. He attended country school. He served in the US Army during WWII from 1944 to 1946. Pete returned to North Dakota where he farmed NE of Linton with his brothers, for his entire life. He enjoyed raising cattle, gardening, listening to music, and watching television. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

Pete is survived by one brother, Ben T. Wald, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John, George, Anton, Joe T., and Fred T.; and sisters, Betty, Walburga and Maryanna.
