Robert Alvin Dockter, 65 of Linton, ND, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Sanford Hospital in Bismarck, ND.

Robert was born on November 9, 1952 to Alvin and Wohla Dockter at Venturia, ND. He was raised and attended school in Eureka, SD; graduating in 1970. He attended Dordt College in Iowa, and BSC in Bismarck.

He worked as a highway patrol officer for several years and later he worked in the insurance department at the Strasburg State Bank.

Robert loved computers, especially working on and fixing them for himself and for others. He enjoyed watching the Kansas Jayhawks and Green Bay Packers.

He is survived by two children and two grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Carol Aaman, many nieces and nephews, and his partner of 11 years, Linda Ulrich.

Robert's wishes were for no formal services to take place.
