Rose Horner, 78, of Kintyre, ND, died May 18, 2010 at St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am Saturday, May 22, 2010 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church, Linton with the Reverend Gary Benz and Reverend Paul Eberle officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthonys Catholic Cemetery, rural Napoleon. Visitation will be on Friday, May 21, from 9:00am 5:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home, Linton and from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the church in Linton, with prayers at 8:00pm. Rose was born March 21st, 1932 on a farm south of Napoleon, ND, the daughter of Lawrence and Magdalena (Welder) Feist. She attended rural school. Rose married Andy Horner on November 3, 1954. They made their home in the Linton area and later moved to the St. Michaels area. Rose loved to dance, sew, crochet, garden and being outside. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Rose was member of St. Michaels Catholic Church and Christian Mothers. She cleaned the rectory house for years and did the church laundry. Rose is survived by her husband: Andy Horner of Kintyre, ND; two daughters and one son-in-law: Charlotte and Loren Beastrom of Hazelton, ND and Charleen Weigel of Napoleon, ND; one son: Gilbert Horner of Kintyre, ND; 7 grandchildren: Lance (Jenny) Weigel, Jenny Weigel, Chris (Nikki) Weigel, Justin Weigel , Kayla (Mitch) Tooke, Carmen Beastrom & Nick Beastrom, 4 great grandchildren: Jazlyn, Mason & Brandi Weigel and Lydia Tooke; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Larry and Leona Feist of Bismarck, ND, Joe and Donna Feist of Napoleon, ND; six sisters and four brothers-in-law: Katie and Ben Weigel of Napoleon, Pauline Buelow of Bismarck, ND, Alvina and Elmer Madler of Mandan, ND, Maggie and Martin Leier of Napoleon, Florence and Gene Mosbrucker of Mandan, ND and Mary Jane Feist of Fargo, ND as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, twin daughters in infancy, one son-in-law, Wendy Weigel and two brothers-in-law, Steve Buelow and George Horner.
