Roxanne R. Zahn-Aberle, 51, of Hague, ND, died August 22, 2023 at the Linton Hospital.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00am, Saturday, August 26, 2023 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Herreid, SD with Fr Mark Axtmann officiating.  Burial will take place at St. John's Cemetery, rural Linton at a later date.  A prayer service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 7:00pm at the church.

Roxanne was born January 6, 1972 in Rapid City, SD the daughter of James and Deborah (Ohlhauser) Zahn.  She was raised and educated in several communities.  She graduated from The Park High School in Cottage Grove, MN.  Roxanne worked as a broker and mortgage writer for banks and was also the Hazelton city auditor.  She also sold hardware for Midwest Fastener and most recently owned and operated DJ's Hitching Post in Hazelton.

She enjoyed being outdoors and enjoying the sunshine with her gardening, hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles.  Roxanne also enjoyed various crafts, especially crocheting.  She will always be remembered for her love of family, especially her grandchildren.

Roxanne is survived by her husband, Thomas "Tom" of Hague; her children:  Lucas Schrantz of Bismarck and Amanda (Joshua) Grossman of Hazelton; her stepchildren: Jessica Aberle of Bismarck and Christina Aberle of Aurora, CO; her grandchildren:  Colton, Tristan, Paisley, Westin and a granddaughter due this fall; her father, James Zahn of Linton and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah in 2012 and her grandparents.

Roxanne's family would like to thank the Linton Regional Medical Center and the Emmons County Emergency Services for the care they provided too her over the years.
