Roy Hoffman, 89, of Pollock, SD passed away at home on December 29, 2020.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, January 8, 2021, Myers Funeral Home, Linton, ND with Rev. Floyd Haan officiating.

Burial will take place at the ND Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND on Friday, January 8 ^th at 3:00 p.m.

Roy was born on December 18, 1931 in St. Anthony, ND to Erasmus and Margaret (Eckroth) Hoffman. he helped on the family farm until the early 1950's. Shortly after leaving the family farm Roy went on and served in the United States Army. After his service, he returned home

and moved to Bismarck, ND and started working for the Peavey Company selling feed. In the 1970's Roy moved to Pollock, SD and went into the custom harvesting business and worked for the Peterson Family.

Roy was a long-time member of the American Legion post #54 and the Knights of Columbus in Linton, ND. He enjoyed many things in life, riding horse, Leather work, fishing and mowing.

Roy is survived by his four sisters, Frances Schwartz, Hugo, MN, Sally Hagle, Angels Camp, CA, Gladys Hagle, Buckeye, AZ, and Sarah Bullinger, Boise, ID; Special family friends the Peterson Family.

Preceding Roy in death was his parents, Erasmus and Margaret Hoffman; Siblings, George Hoffman, Valentine Hoffman, Christ Hoffman, Jack Hoffman, Phillip Hoffman, and sister, Clara Hoffman.
