Scott
Seashore
Jul 22, 1957 — Jun 15, 2026
Linton
Scott David Seashore, 68, went to be with the Lord on June 14, 2026 in Linton, ND. Scott was born in Golden Valley, MN on July 22, 1957 to Roger & Ardy Seashore. Scott had two younger brothers, Mark & Trent (Mary), and one younger sister, Jelane (Craig).
Scott graduated from Neil Armstrong High School in 1975 and went to the University of Minnesota for one year before going to Trade School to become a carpenter. He worked for over 40 years as a carpenter & general contractor.
Scott was married to Judy Helton (Peters) & had one son, Kyle Seashore. He was also married to Julie Herrick (Bohn) & had one daughter, Amy Herrick.
Scott was passionate about cars (MN Street Machine Association for 30+ years), his family, friends & the outdoors. He was always the first person to text the family members & friends “Happy Birthday or Happy Anniversary” when it was our special day – he never forgot us & we’ll never forget him.
He led many “informally guided” hunting/fishing excursions for family & friends all over the upper Midwest & as a charter fishing boats first mate in the Florida Keys. His “gift of gab” & joke telling nature was infectious and he made more new friends talking with total strangers about the outdoors than anyone we knew.
He also was VERY skilled at Taxidermy & often had family/friends “Trophies” in different stages of completion laying around his house/garage.
He moved to Linton, ND in 2011 for its direct access to fantastic hunting/fishing and to live out his life, with his favorite dog Duke, on his terms. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his 2 children; Kyle Seashore, Amy Herrick and many family & friends.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Roger & Ardy Seashore & his nephew Connor.
Per Scott’s wishes, he asked to be cremated & his ashes be scattered across his favorite hunting/fishing spots near his Linton, ND home.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 1:00 to 3:00pm at the Hamel VFW, 19020 Hamel Rd, Plymouth, MN 55446.
