Steven
Glatt
Sep 26, 1972 — Oct 22, 2010
Steven Mark Glatt was born in Bismarck, ND on September 26, 1972 to Myron and Yvonne (Kisse) Glatt. He was raised on the family farm south of Moffit, ND and attended school in Hazelton, ND. Steven graduated from Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock high School in 1991. As a child, Steven enjoyed cheering on the Washington Redskins, making Lego creations, collecting action figures and sports cards, and drawing. His passion for art started at a very young age. Stevens bedroom was filled with hand-sketched drawings and masterpieces of different textures, colors and mediums. Moreover, Steve had many artistic passions; he enjoyed his music, drum playing, photography, acting and modeling. He loved having pets, from fish to dogs, and enjoyed their company and comfort. Steven especially loved his dog, Jack, who he endeared with the pet name, baboons. The small town life never appealed to Steven and it became apparent to him that North Dakota was too small to fulfill his dreams. In 1994, Steven relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in hopes of fulfilling his rock and roll dreams. Notwithstanding, Steve worked in the Hospitality & Restaurant Industry, always being known for his charisma and hard work. He always identified himself as an Artist, and was recognized for his distinct talent. He was awarded the prestigious Best of the Best and Best Contemporary Artist for Best of Scottsdale Art District. Steve was published in local media and displayed his work in professional galleries. His ultimate dream for his art career was to create an art charity for terminally ill children. Steven was a friend to many and considered his close friends, family. It was evident in the outpouring of love and support shown to his family at this difficult time. We would like to thank all of you who loved him so dearly and truly impacted his life in a positive way. Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law: Stephanie and Bruce Doolittle of Hazelton, ND, niece Devin Doolittle of Fargo, ND and nephew Dillon Doolittle of Hazelton, ND; maternal grandmother: Esther Kisse of Dickinson, ND; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his maternal grandfather, Adolph Kisse and paternal grandparents, Frank and Magdalena Glatt.
