Susan Gackle, 51, of Strasburg, ND, passed away at her home on July 14, 2018.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Myers Funeral Home, Linton.  Burial will be at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Strasburg, ND.  Visitation will be one hour before services at Myers Funeral Home on Thursday.

Susan was born on July 1, 1967, to Dean and Linda (Kalmbach) Gackle. She was raised and educated in Kulm, ND, where she graduated as Valedictorian in 1985. She attended Mayville State College and graduated in 1989.

Susan enjoyed knitting, playing cards, dominos and crossword puzzles.

While living in Fargo, she worked at Sunmart, and waitressed in Tower City. She moved to Strasburg in 2005.

Susan rarely complained about her life and remained strong until her passing.

She is survived by her brother, Victor Gackle, Kulm; sister, Jeanette (Thomas) Henderson, Lamoure, ND; two nieces, Brittany and Sidney Henderson; and special friend, Jim Kraft, Strasburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
