Terra Lynn Mattheis, 30, Linton, died peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, August 27, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Linton. Burial will be in the Linton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Myers Funeral Home and continue from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church where there will be a prayer service at 8:00 p.m. Terra Lynn was born April 20, 1981 in Linton, ND, the daughter of Randy and Bona (Bichler) Senger. She was raised and educated in Linton, graduating from Linton High School in 2000. Terra married Ross Mattheis on June 26, 1999 in Linton. Following their marriage, they lived in Linton where Terra has raised her boys, Riley (11) and Hunter (8). She previously worked at "My Favorite Place Daycare" and Gas Plus in Linton. She was a member of the local scrapbooking club and a Pampered Chef Consultant. She enjoyed scrapbooking, watching her cousin Craig race, fishing, playing cards, and most of all raising her two boys. Terra was an inspiration to all that met her and will be remembered for her courage and her bubbly personality. Terra died peacefully surrounded by her family at her home on August 27, 2011. She is survived by her two sons: Riley and Hunter Mattheis of Linton, their father, Ross Mattheis of Mobridge, SD; her father, Randy Senger of Linton, her mother Bona (Larry) Lauinger of Linton; one sister, Kayla (Dave) Crawford of Linton; a nephew, Tyler Senger, Linton, a niece, Kayleigh Orluck, Tioga; grandparents: Alex and Kathryn Bichler , Ray and Margarete Senger all of Linton and ElRay and Delight Fercho of Streeter, ND; several cousins, aunts, and uncles; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Ralph and Melinda Mattheis of Linton; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Elise and Michael Orluck of Tioga and very special friends, Greg May of Linton and Tessa Grenz of Aberdeen, SD and Tater, her dog. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents: Mike and Mary Bichler, Anton and Magdalena Senger, Johann and Maria Morcinek, Wendelin and Mary Mosset; great grandmother, Lida Fischer; uncle, Warren Senger, Aunt, Kathy Bichler; Cousin, Jay Senger; Grandparents Reinhold Mattheis and Ella Smith.
