Theresa Wolf, 97, Strasburg, ND, died Friday, November 16, 2018, at the Strasburg Care Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg.

Visitation will be from 7-9 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:30 pm on Friday at the church.

Theresa was born on January 12th, 1921, to Sebastian and Mary (Volk) Voller. She lived on the farm east of Strasburg, ND with her parents and six siblings. Theresa attended school through the 8th grade. Though she loved school, she was unable to continue her education due to her mother and father's health issues at the time. She was needed to help care for younger siblings and for farm chores. Theresa married Mike Wolf on October 28, 1941. They raised six children on the Wolf family farm, north of Strasburg.

Theresa was very involved in the St. Mary's Society of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Strasburg. She served in all of the officers' positions throughout her 65+ years of service.

Theresa was always happiest when taking care of her chickens, milk cows and baby calves. She took pride in giving to those who needed milk, cream or eggs. Theresa found time in the winter to sew clothing for her children, patch clothes, crochet and to make her gorgeous quilts.

Summers were always busy with farming. Nevertheless, nieces and nephews were always welcome and came from all parts of the United States to spend time on the farm. Fresh homemade bread and chokecherry jelly were always on hand for them. She took such pride in caring for her family and beyond.

Theresa's children and husband were her pride and joy, and the most joyful moments of her life were taking care of them. Her grandchildren were special and precious to her, and they spent many, many days and weeks at grandma's house. She always said, "Do you have to go already?".

Theresa helped to care for her husband Mike, her mother Mary Voller and her aunt Veronica Volk as they approached the end of their lives.

Theresa is survived by two sisters, Rose Glas, Strasburg, and Betty Bachmeier, Bismarck, ND; her children, Diane (Mike) Marquart, Baldwin, ND, Gary (Jan) Wolf, Indio, CA, Joyce (Dennis) Jangula, Bismarck, Paul (Cherry) Wolf, Baldwin, GA, Marvin (Heidi) Wolf, Strasburg, and son-in-law John Weigold, Farmington Hill, MI. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and sisters-in-law Pat Voller, Victoria Voller and brother-in-law Elmer Mattern.

Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Mike; her daughter Marie Weigold; her parents; her infant sister, Marie; her brother and sister-in-law Mike and Edith Voller; brothers Steve and Harry Voller; sister Hilda Mattern and brother-in-law Leo Bachmeier.
