Thomas
Aberle
Jul 2, 1960 — Oct 2, 2024
Strasburg
Thomas William Aberle, 64, formerly of Hague, ND, died October 2, 2024 in the Strasburg Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Zeeland, ND with Fr. Wenceslaus Katunga officiating. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 5pm to 7pm on Monday, October 14, 2024 at the church with a rosary/vigil at 7pm.
Tom was born July 2nd, 1960, in Eureka SD to William (Bill) and Florence (Welk) Aberle of Zeeland.
Tom graduated high school in 1978. He spent years criss-crossing the country working different kinds of jobs in different cities. He lived in Philidelphia PA, Phoenix Arizona, Minneapolis MN, Fort Collins CO, and others. He eventually settled down back home in Zeeland to raise his family in 2000.
Tom was the epitome of a jack of all trades. If there was a job to do, he would figure out how to get it done. He was a self-taught carpenter, plumber, excavator, farmer/rancher, and just about anything else he could do outside or with his hands.
Tom met the love of his life, Roxanne Schrantz, in the summer of 2014 while driving his motorcycle through every little town along Highway 83. He stopped in at DJ's hitching post, which Roxanne owned at the time in Hazelton ND, and it was all downhill from there. They married in November 2018.
Tom is survived by his daughters: Christina Aberle, Colorado Springs, CO and Jessica Aberle, Bismarck, ND; step-children: Amanda (Josh) Grossman, Hazelton, ND and Lucas Schrantz, Bismarck, ND; sisters: Mary (Jamie) Heidrich, Bismarck, ND and Denise (John) Cannata, Boise, ID and many nieces and nephews.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Florence Aberle, brothers David and Francis Aberle, wife Roxanne Aberle, and others.
