Velma (Weber) Ohlhauser, 82, Linton, ND, passed away into the arms of our Lord, Jesus on April 9, 2020.

Velma was born on July 2, 1937 to William and Martha (Kiemele) Weber. She graduated from Linton Public School in 1956. On January 21, 1961 she was united in marriage to Harlin M. Ohlhauser. Velma worked in the Register of Deeds office at the Emmons County Courthouse until 1970 when she quit working to raise her children. During this time, she also babysat many of her nieces and nephews and neighbor's children.

Velma was a loving servant of God. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church and currently attended First Baptist Church. She was Faithful, Humble and Kind. She was our Rock, our Everything, and always took great care of everyone. She especially loved babies and was known as the baby whisperer. She was also the family nurse. Velma did great refinishing woodwork and enjoyed embroidering dishtowels by hand, putting love into every stitch. She loved her flower garden and could take any array of flowers to make a beautiful bouquet.

Velma is survived by her son, Arlyn (Karen) Ohlhauser; 3 daughters, Carla (Ron) Job, Becky Kraft and Stacey Ohlhauser; grandchildren, Cassie Job, Matthew Kraft, Ryan Kraft, Will Ohlhauser, Regan, McKenna and Halee Kraft; brother, Neil (Susie) Weber; 2 sisters, Janice Umber and Shirley (Alex) Jahner; 2 sisters-in-law, Eileen Tiede and Evy Ohlhauser; brother-in-law, Arnold Ohlhauser; She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and Abby and Noah Dubbord who considered her like a grandma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlin in 1997; her parents; 2 infant sons, Jesse and Billy; 2 brothers, Wilbur (Anna Laura) and Freddie Weber; infant sister, Vivian; and sisters, Alma (Ralph) Kremer, Luella (Edwin) Ohlhauser and Viola Ohlhauser; and brother-in-law, Harold Umber.
