Victoria Voller, 96, of Strasburg, ND, passed away peacefully, May 6, 2024 at the Strasburg Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday May 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM with a rosary/vigil service at 7:00 PM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery. A livestream of Victoria's funeral service will be available on the funeral home website.

Victoria was born June 11, 1927 to Wendelin and Barbara (Baumgartner) Wikenheiser in Strasburg ND. She was raised on the Wikenheiser farm north of Strasburg along with her four brothers and two sisters.

Victoria attended rural elementary school and graduated from Strasburg High school in 1944.Victoria married Harry Voller on Oct. 30, 1946 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic church in Strasburg.

She began her teaching career after graduation, in one room schools in multiple school districts, some years having all eight grades. At Odessa school she taught elementary students 1st, 2nd, and 3rd  graders.

Victoria attended North Dakota State Normal and Industrial College in Ellendale ND, for three summers to earn her 2 year teaching certificate while helping her husband on the farm and raising four children. She continued her education at Mary College earning her Bachelor's degree. She achieved this by attending evening and summer classes while teaching full time along with her other duties. She found a calling for helping children with academic needs. This led to her final teaching years with Emmons County Special Education Program, starting in Strasburg then finishing in Linton. Oftentimes when encountering former students, they would express their appreciation and fond memories of Victoria's valuable lessons she taught them.

She loved spending time in her garden, playing cards, praying the rosary, church activities, senior citizens and spending time with family. Farming duties with Harry included milking cows, raising hogs, cattle, and chickens. She always had a huge garden and kept an immaculate house and yard. Victoria was a member of the Homemakers Club, Strasburg Senior Citizens, and St. Mary's Society.

Victoria is survived by; one daughter, Patty Hardesty, Strasburg; three sons; Ron (Verla) Voller, Bismarck, Tom (Bev) Voller, Hazelton, and Jim (Donna) Voller, Strasburg; 14 grandchildren, Sandy (Clint) Bender, Dr. Carla Zacher, John (Tricia) Zacher, Vicki Zacher, Tony (Tracy) Zacher, Chad Voller, Tim Voller, Jodi Voller, Dr. Emily Voller, Laura (Matt) Mastel, Eric (Casey) Voller, Dr. Lindsey (Dr. Torsten) Voller Rotto, Kelsey Voller, and Jordan (Josie) Voller; 17 great-grandchildren, plus one on the way; one brother, Clarence (Nina) Wikenheiser, Strasburg; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse Harry (2006), three brothers, Bill, Ray (Mary), Alois (Viola), and two sisters Eleanor (Bill) Ledger, Bertha (Teoph) Balliet.
