Virginia Eva Feist, 85, Strasburg, passed away, Thursday, June 11, 2020 at St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday June 15, 2020 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 503 N 2nd St, Strasburg, ND.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Sunday, June 14, at Myers Funeral Home, 203 Southeast 2nd Street, Linton, ND.

Burial will be at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Strasburg, ND.

On May 11, 1935, John and Marianna (Nold) Zacher got in the car and went into town, where Virginia was born.  On January 31, 1956, she married Paul Houn.  They had two children, a son and a daughter.  On November 11, 1958, Paul passed away.  Virginia remarried on July 16, 1962 to Joseph K. Feist and together they had two daughters.

Virginia worked for the school lunch program for Emmons Central High School and St. Benedicts Grade School for 20 years.  She also cooked for numerous weddings and club functions.  Virginia also worked for the Super Saver in Strasburg for three years. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg and the St. Mary's society.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marianna Zacher; her first husband, Paul Houn; her second husband, Joseph K. Feist; her oldest daughter, Pauline; her only son, Albert; her brothers, Aloyius, Lawrence, Peter, Valentine, and George; and her sisters, Magdalena and Eleanor.

Virginia is survived by her daughters, JoAnn (Todd) Glass, Lincoln, ND and Alice (Fred) Mayer, Bismarck, ND; grandchildren, Bobbi Jo (Travis), Dasie, Desiree (David), Joey (Desi), Chasity (James), Tiffany (Austin), Adam, Billie Jo (Casey), Brandi (Jeff), Michael (Brittany); her great grandkids, Aaron, Ryan, Michelle, Armond, Tristan, Kailey, Piper, Lawsen, Kailin, Brecklyn, Miah, Samantha, Brynlee, and Wyatt; and one sister, Agnes Beuchler, Bismarck, ND, and special friends Jody and Dylon Ohlhauser.
