William "Bill" Kelsch, 56, Strasburg, ND, passed away the morning Monday, March 4, 2019, at Sanford Medical Center, in Bismarck, ND.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday, March 11, 2019, at Myers Funeral Home in Linton, ND, with a Prayer Service to follow, at 7:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Strasburg, ND.
Burial will be held at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in the Spring.
William John Kelsch was born on June 14th, 1962, in Linton, ND, to Peter and Agnes (Bosch) Kelsch. He graduated from Strasburg High School in 1981. He worked for Wanzek Construction in West Fargo, ND, before starting his own company, Heartland Pool Service.
He was a longtime member of the Strasburg Wildlife Club. He loved having the freedom to come and go as he pleased; especially when that coming and going involved hunting or fishing.
He loved to spend time with his friends and family. Bill lived his life to the fullest and always had a story to tell, and never forgot where he came from. He was a true brother, son, and uncle, and he will never be forgotten by those who knew him.
Bill is survived by four brothers, Thomas (Beverly) of Fargo, ND, Peter (Giget) Jr. of Bismarck, ND, Richard of Bismarck, and Michael (Jodi) of Linton, ND; Nine sisters, Darleen (Sean) Devaney, of St. Paul, MN, Linda Miklos of Willow River, MN, Donna (Leon) DeGreef of Wilmot, SD, Betty (Gery) DeGreef of Mandan, ND, Sharon (Joe) Belter of Ramsey, MN, Judy (Jim) Hettwer of Grand Forks, ND, Theresa (Doug) Fercho of Bismarck, ND, Candace Kelsch of Fargo, ND, and Janell (Dave) Zelenka of Melrose, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and one aunt, Mary Alice Stoppler of Linton.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Steven and Patrick; sister-in-law, Donna Kelsch; and his nephew, Thomas James Kelsch.
