William (Willie-Bill) Rohrich, 86, Strasburg, ND, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the Linton Hospital, Linton, ND.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg, ND, with visitation one hour prior to mass. Burial will be held at the church cemetery.

William (Willie-Bill) Rohrich was born on September 1, 1933 on a farm in Emmons County to Stephen and Katie (Lipp) Rohrich. He attended country school until the 8 ^th grade. William lived on the farm all his life but for a few years while he was in the service. He was drafted into the US Army in June 1951 and served in Korea for a year before he was Honorably discharged in June 1953. William then came back to the farm in Strasburg and later took over the family farm when his dad passed away in 1957. He had jobs off the farm working at an elevator in Strasburg and at the Linton Livestock Sales Barn. He began renting out the land to his nephew in 2001.

William was a member of the Beaver Valley Horse Club and the Strasburg VFW. Farming, cattle, and especially horses were his passions.

William is survived by one brother, James (Irene) Rohrich, Strasburg; four sisters, Cecelia Seaman, Strasburg, Deloris Hausherr, OR, Agnes (Gary) Haak, Strasburg and Cathy (Robert) Silbernagel, Bismarck, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Eleanor; two sisters, Marie Monnseratt and Therese Rohrich; brother, Herman Rohrich; nephew, Howard Seaman Jr.; great-nephew, Kyle Heidrich, and three brothers-in-law.
